Andy earned his Bachelor’s degree from Augusta State University in 2013 and went on to earn his juris doctorate from Georgia State University in 2017. During law school, he served as an associate article’s editor for the Georgia State Law Review and also as a law clerk for the Cochran Firm – Atlanta, where he assisted in high stakes personal injury and civil rights cases. Thereafter he returned home to the Augusta area where he served as an assistant district attorney gaining valuable experience trying violent felony offenses.
As a former judge and prosecutor, Andy will use his experience and legal knowledge to fight for the rights of the criminally accused. During his time as a prosecutor, he resolved hundreds of felony and misdemeanor offenses ranging from DUI’s to murder. As a judge, he presided over preliminary hearings and bond hearings to protect the rights of the criminally accused. He will use this experience to defend clients in criminal cases.
In his free time, Andy enjoys martial arts, the outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends.
